This is an area I need to work on. Also having some meals ready to go in the fridge or freezer. Anybody do this and if so, any favorites to share? Thanks. Hope
Also wanted to share that I’m keeping a fairly detailed daily food log including some of my activities. It is serving to keep me mindful of what I’m eating, how often and more aware and noticing if it’s for a meal, where I am (at home, in a restaurant or a friend’s) and I’m becoming more conscious of the challenges I encounter (like a lot of social pressure in social circumstances on more than one occasion to eat as others are eating at their insistence). Though I may still choose not to, it feels like bucking a strong tide. My “willpower” muscle is growing stronger in part because I’m sending my daily food log to a personal coach for accountability and that external witness has given me added strength to stay conscious, plan ahead better and bit by bit grow stronger. It’s like slowly climbing a very tall staircase or mountain. At the start of the hike, I’m feeling pretty out of shape but after weeks of trekking, I bet I’ll get the hang of it and grow stronger still. Thanks for being fellow hikers. Support helps.

Did you purchase the Ultimate Weight Loss Bundle perchance? Tami Kramer of Nutmeg Notebook is the Batch Cooking Queen. She had an in depth course in the Bundle. Also just check her out on YouTube. I personally have a cycle of "no brainer" meals I make every week. Tofu Lasagna, Broccoli Cheez Soup, Mushroom Stroganoff. And then I'll crank out my "lunch soups" like Moroccan Lentil Soup. Scroll thru my Natural State PB Facebook page if any of these sound good to you for the recipe. But I generally try to hold back about half of the batch for the freezer. Paul got me these silicon portion freezers for Xmas. https://www.amazon.com/Souper-Cubes-Extra-Large-Silicone-Freezer/dp/B07W9J64VK/ref=sr_1_7?crid=255MW3Z49TQW3&keywords=blue+silicone+portion+freeze&qid=1677438028&sprefix=blue+silicon+portion+free%2Caps%2C186&sr=8-7.
Hope this helps! ss
